“To act ethically, advocate rights, strengthen nature and demonstrate awareness” is both the motto and the duty of the ERNA Foundation. The ERNA Foundation therefore supports non-profit projects that recognise the ethical responsibility of each and every person with respect to others, nature and themselves, and in this respect campaigns with a great deal of affection for local, in part also smaller projects in Zurich.

Characterised by the international experience of the ERNA team, the foundation is also active outside of Switzerland. The balance between Switzerland and other countries, the proximity to people and nature, coupled with an understanding of financial challenges, distinguish the ERNA Foundation. 

Dr. Kai-Uwe Steck is a German lawyer and an expert in banking law and investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds and property investment funds. He recently received the "Best of the Best 2015" award from Expert Guides of the Legal Media Group, London, and is thus among the most renowned lawyers worldwide in his work area.

Nevertheless, social commitment is very important to him in addition to his professional work. As the father of a young daughter, supporting children's projects is particularly close to his heart.

Dr. Eva Gattnar MBA is a Manager, ICF® Executive Coach and HeartMath® Teacher with over 20 years of experience in international healthcare groups, university institutions and fast-growing high-tech industries. She is an expert in medical informatics and value-based leadership.

As an Ambassador for the ERNA Foundation, she leverages her network of global corporations and emerging players to initiate innovative projects for the Foundation. Her mission is to help international thought leaders unleash their highest potential and foster social engagement.
