“To act ethically, advocate rights, strengthen nature and demonstrate awareness” is both the motto and the duty of the ERNA Foundation. The ERNA Foundation therefore supports non-profit projects that recognise the ethical responsibility of each and every person with respect to others, nature and themselves, and in this respect campaigns with a great deal of affection for local, in part also smaller projects in Zurich.

Characterised by the international experience of the ERNA team, the foundation is also active outside of Switzerland. The balance between Switzerland and other countries, the proximity to people and nature, coupled with an understanding of financial challenges, distinguish the ERNA Foundation. 

Claudia Ineichen works as Director of the Rütli Umbrella Foundation Lucerne. She previously spent a long period as a private banker and financial planner, looking after wealthy clients of a private bank concerning matters such as investments, pension issues, insurance, property and succession rulings.

As a consultant on foundation matters it is an honor for her to be involved in the ERNA Foundation from the very outset as Member of the Board of Trustees. The objectives of the ERNA Foundation fit in one hundred percent with her personal charitable ambitions. Treating people and the environment with respect as well as supporting disadavantaged persons should be everyone's duty.

Previously, she was active in corporate finance, capital markets and private banking, most recently as head of a small single family office.

Integrity and respectful treatment of everyone and everything is a matter close to her heart. She wants to use this motivation and her flair for numbers to support those who have little or no voice. 

Thomas Krawietz is a lawyer and private banker with over 30 years of experience in serving wealthy clients in the Swiss market. He has also always focused on legal & compliance and change management, particularly with regard to developments in Switzerland and Germany.

Alongside his philanthropic work in various foundations, his activities as coach to managers and talent mentor constitute an important contribution for the company. He devotes himself to his honorary activities on the basis of a deep conviction and with a high level of commitment.

Dr. Kai-Uwe Steck is a German lawyer and an expert in banking law and investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds and property investment funds. He recently received the "Best of the Best 2015" award from Expert Guides of the Legal Media Group, London, and is thus among the most renowned lawyers worldwide in his work area.

Nevertheless, social commitment is very important to him in addition to his professional work. As the father of a young daughter, supporting children's projects is particularly close to his heart.

Maike van Dijk spent many years working in both operative as well as administrative management positions in the international hotel and shipping sectors, before moving to her adopted home of Switzerland. Parallel to her profession, she is undergoing further training in the field of health advising.  

Her work for the ERNA Foundation enables her to combine her organisational skills with her enthusiasm for social projects. She became involved in helping disadvantaged children and young people at an early age, and today acts as mentor for the BIZ career advisory service, supporting young people in their search for an apprenticeship.

Dr. Eva Gattnar MBA is a Manager, ICF® Executive Coach and HeartMath® Teacher with over 20 years of experience in international healthcare groups, university institutions and fast-growing high-tech industries. She is an expert in medical informatics and value-based leadership.

As an Ambassador for the ERNA Foundation, she leverages her network of global corporations and emerging players to initiate innovative projects for the Foundation. Her mission is to help international thought leaders unleash their highest potential and foster social engagement.

Jenny Wismer is currently studying Business Communications at HWZ and is applying the knowledge she has gained about successful corporate communications directly to the daily business. 

She supports ERNA in project management.
