The Barika Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Flums, Switzerland, dedicated since 2017 to supporting disadvantaged children and families in West Africa. The organization operates on a non-profit basis and implements its projects directly on site—particularly in Senegal, Mali, and Sierra Leone. Its mission is to combat hunger and poverty while promoting sustainable development and education initiatives.

The Barika Foundation supports children who live on the streets or grow up under extremely difficult living conditions. Through concrete aid projects on the ground, many children receive daily access to food, clean drinking water, care, and schooling. All projects are implemented directly by the members of the organization and carried out in close collaboration with local communities.

Thanks to the generous donation from the ERNA Foundation, additional children were able to join the existing support programs. This contribution helps ensure that vulnerable children receive regular meals, access to clean water, and the opportunity to attend school. In doing so, it provides them with an important perspective for a better future.
